Privacy Policy

Athena's Parthenon is operated by Pilon Laboratories Inc., Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. This policy explains what information we collect through this shop, why, and how it's handled.

When you place an order, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details directly — we never see or store your full card number ourselves. We also receive the items you purchased and the order total.

We use analytics and advertising tools that collect standard browsing information (pages visited, general device/browser information, and — for ad platforms — a cookie identifier) while you're on the site. See “Analytics & Advertising Tools” below for exactly which ones and what they do.

• To process payment and fulfill your order
• To send your shipping details to Printful, our print-on-demand fulfillment partner, so your order can be produced and shipped
• To communicate with you about your order (confirmations, shipping updates, and responses if you contact us)
• To keep records required for accounting and tax purposes
• To understand how the shop is used and to measure the performance of our advertising

We share only what each service needs to do its job:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Printful — order production and shipping, which receives your name and shipping address
• Vercel — our hosting provider

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

This site uses the following third-party tools:

• Google Analytics — measures site traffic and usage patterns.
• Meta Pixel & Conversions API — measures the performance of our Facebook/Instagram advertising and lets us build audiences for future ads. When you complete a purchase, our server sends Meta a record of that purchase (order value and the items bought) so we can measure ad performance; your email address is one-way cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) before it's sent, meaning it cannot be reversed back into a readable email by us or Meta. Meta's own use of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Speed Insights — measures page load performance; does not collect personal information.

We keep order records as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete other personal information we hold about you at any time (see “Your Rights” below), though we may need to retain order records where the law requires it.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, at any time, by emailing derek@pilonlaboratories.com. As a Canadian business, we handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

This shop is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they're posted on this page.
